This month, we offered to help the RTPI at the Skills London event held at ExCeL Arena London this year. We were representing 'Property needs you' a consortium of major property employers JLL, Knight Frank, Cushman and Wakefield, CBRE, Savills, Colliers International, Bilfinger GVA, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Gerald Eve, Strutt and Parker, Land Securities; two industry bodies Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and Higher Education institution Reading Real Estate Foundation (Pathways to Property).
Their mission is to raise awareness of the range of career paths into the property industry for school, college and university students.
We enjoyed speaking to young people about the opportunities and pathways into a rewarding career in properties and our real life experiences as Chartered Town Planners.
